FASHION FILM AND VIDEO AT THE NAUTILUS sonesta HOTEL ON MIAMI BEACH

Beach Haus, who specializes in resort wear hired me to create fashion photographs and a fashion video of their new collection of Turkish pompom robes. We were lucky enough to be able to shoot at the Nautilus Hotel by Sonesta in Miami Beach.

We shot very early in the morning at the poolside of the hotel, before any guests came in, and to take advantage of the golden morning light. I hardly ever need to use strobes since the light in Miami is stunning and if it’s harsher in the middle of the day, I still manage to keep the look soft by shooting into the sun, using backlight.

We got super lucky with model Johanna Sambucini - you can tell from the photos and the video that we just had a really fun time. Renee Moizel, owner of Beach Haus, was at the shoot, bringing in all the robes and towels, but what made the photos extra special was the styling by Ariane Simard - those sunglasses!!
