BTS SWIMWEAR SHOOT FOR VANGUARD MAGAZINE

Model Jessica Vasconcelos of The Source Models and I met 45 minutes before sunrise on the car park near Nikki Beach Miami to have her makeup done by Krupa Purohit and her hair by Ray.

We went for a sun kissed natural look which I love for swim shoots. We were super lucky with the weather - it was one of those very calm Miami summer days with glassy water and soft early morning light. Jessica wore a bikini by The Lazy Poet (love that lemon design!!) and a swimsuit by Maaji, a Colombian swimwear brand that I love.

I used the oranges as props because I like to have models do something while I photograph them so the photos look as natural and authentic as possible and there is a little orange in the swimsuit as well.

Initially Jessica wanted to keep her hair dry but that thought went out the window pretty quickly haha. I had her run on the beach and in the end she was sitting in the water and got hit by a wave. The perks of being a swimwear model.
